Well although I dont have any pics with camera just cell phone i dont know how to gewt on here, me and a good friend of mine have been catching the hell out of snappers these last few days.

we started out at a pond and only caught two in a two week stretch, due to the catfish would beat them to the lines. so we packed up the 17 lines we had there and headed to another spot, and boy did we strike it rich.

It has only been 6 days since we started on these 3 ponds with only ten ines set and they have produced 33 turtles so far with another round of checking due here in an hour or so. They have ranged in weight from 2 pounds to 25 pounds with 14 of them at the 12 pound range. Also to add that 21 of them have been caught in the last two days.

The landowner said to take ever last one of em out of there. he has no use for them and wants em all gone. so i dont know if we just hit a fithly rich pond or caught em feeding up for winter or what but it is looking good.

Anyone else catching any?
